is a graduate of Meredith Manor International equestrian center. Through his
formal education he received a masters in Farrier science, a teaching master, training

This education also involved horse health and barn management. Joe excelled in
farrier science and was chosen as an assistant farrier instructor and taught a shoeing
course to receive his certification as an instructor.
Soon after graduation he was hired as a farrier for the Wonder ful World of
Horses staring the "World Famous Royal lipizzaner stallion". On tour Joe did an
abundance of specialty shoeing allowing the stallions proper traction for a variety
of footing. After two tours, Joe started his own practice of shoeing on the south
Shore of Massachusetts where he grew up.
Shoeing for over 14 years, Joe is proud to have a very successful business working
on horses from the basic trim to the complicated science of therapeutic and
performance shoeing. Joes back ground of training and riding gives him the ability
to handle temperamental and otherwise "problem" horses. Joe works very closely
with many of the surrounding vets in the area on horses with severe foot disease and
lameness. Currently more than 50% of Joes business is therapudic or "corrective"
shoeing and he intends to expand on working with horses in need of specialty
shoeing. He likes to see horses in need, become happy and sound.
